Aaron Hedges is back on Bar 25 Music with a new release made in collaboration with Aérea Negrot, 'My Habit'. Aaron, who previously participated in the acclaimed 'Bar25 – Zeitgeist, Vol. 10' compilation and delivered a mesmerizing remix for Frivolous, brings his unique sound and musical vision to the forefront once again.

Music runs deep in Aaron Hedges' veins, as he hails from a family with a rich musical heritage. His parents, who serendipitously met in a former church turned gay disco in Seattle, introduced him to the vibrant world of disco from an early age. Growing up, he immersed himself in their collection of records and was constantly exposed to new sounds, thanks to his father's role as an audio/visual librarian.

In the 1990s, Aaron stumbled upon the underground rave scene, and it was there that his passion for electronic music truly took hold. From witnessing awe-inspiring sunrise sets by the legendary Donald Glaude on the beach to losing himself in the captivating rhythms of acid house-dominated warehouse parties, Aaron was a devoted presence on the dance floor every weekend. Since then, Aaron Hedges has continued to make waves in the electronic music scene. He has released original tracks on respected labels like Traum Schallplatten and has exciting plans in the works, including a new regular party in Berlin in collaboration with his friend Simon Beeston. Furthermore, fans can look forward to his forthcoming remix for dub techno artist Echosub and enjoy his fresh bootleg edits on SoundCloud.

Titled 'My Habit,' this EP features multiple versions of the captivating track produced in collaboration with the talented Aérea Negrot. The release also includes remixes by two esteemed artists, Marc Houle and Smash TV, who add their own unique touch to the original piece. Additionally, listeners are in for a treat with the inclusion of a mesmerizing track titled 'Eye of the Storm,' crafted by Aaron himself.

One of the remixers, Marc Houle, has been captivating audiences worldwide for over a decade with his ever-evolving live performances. Hailing from the musically fertile community near Detroit, Windsor, Ontario, the same birthplace as Richie Hawtin, Houle's deep love for electronic sounds traces back to the nostalgic noise of '80s video games and vintage synthesizers. Houle's musical journey transcends the boundaries of minimal techno, incorporating influences from industrial, disco, and new wave genres.

The EP also features a remix by Holger Zilske, also known as Smash TV, a prominent figure in the electronic music landscape. Holger has been making waves since his first release under the Smash TV moniker on BPitch Control in 2001. With an impressive discography that spans labels such as Hypercolour, Playhouse, Get Physical, Mobilee, and many more, Holger's artistic versatility shines through in his productions.
