Bogota, Colombia based composer, musician and producer Jorjhan Castro joins us on Bonzai Progressive with the superb deep progressive grooves of 'The Symmetry Of Chaos'. In addition to the Original Mix, the release is backed up by two solid remixes that add a fresh perspective to the already fantastic track. Jorjhan has been making music for a long time, and his experience and dedication to his craft are evident in the quality of his work. He has a unique ability to blend different musical styles, creating a sound that is both fresh and timeless. A great addition to the label and we're excited to see what Jorjhan has in store for us in the future.
The Original Mix kicks off the release and heads straight into a stylish groove with a chugging bassline and enchanting melodic arps. The track builds smoothly with an intriguing narrative leading to a wistful break filled with sweeping pads and alien-like sounds which drops to the final act on this journey-led groove. Fellow Colombian Morris Tellez joins Jorjhan on his Bonzai debut with a solid remix. Morris studied at Dubspot focussing on DJing, music production and mixing and mastering. He then signed to Iconyc and Hydrogen in 2016 with great success on his first release 'Mandrill EP'. He also works with The Lab Sessions in Bogota where he strives to become a leading influence on the club and music scene. On the remix here, Morris compliments the original with a powerfully driving groove made up of an infectious pulsing bassline and super sharp drums. Delicate arps build before emotive note changes on the break reveal an epic nature to the track. The groove turns gritty after the break resulting in a strong finale. The Spin Remix rounds out the release and ramps up the energy levels with a driving groove that will wreck the dancefloor. Right from the first bar we're faced with a wall of sound constructed from prominent basses and waves of hypnotic arps. Colourful melodies carve out a path to the break where gnarly stabs clash with soft pads to create a sublime atmosphere before the main groove returns for an explosive end.
