“Scattered in Between” is an album produced by CJ Art under his newest side projects name – Mental Traveler. MT alias is dedicated mainly to deep, atmospheric and immersive instrumental electronic music such as organic electronica, downtempo, ambient, drone, cinematic, chillout, psybient, progressive-chill, world music and similar. The album is the result of a stream of consciousness ongoing in recent crazy and uncertain times. LP has been finished with the end of the pandemic and been waiting for its moment to see the light of day. What is hidden under “Scattered in Between”? It is an oneiric journey inside ourselves. A journey through various scattered worlds. Worlds suspended between what is real and unreal, “Lunacy” and sobriety, “Noir” and light, between reality and dreamlike. Sometimes we are in a state of low consciousness like during “Sleepwalking” and we are “Not Quite Awake”, sometimes we drift away with our thoughts to the unexplored regions of the universe to feel the “Mystifying Phenomenon”, and sometimes we experience extatic, euphoric and purifying moment of “Katharsis”. Everything somewhere in between. We use to close ourselves in our shell in the world of “Illusions” and “Enter the Temple” of our own imaginations, but we are also “Stepping out” of our comfort zone to feel like a “Late Night's Nomad” walking “Somewhere in the Woods” looking for freedom. Finally, we realize that we are not the center of the universe and “Our Absence Won't Make the World Stop Turning”…
