Earlier this year Sean and Amber aka Kakura made their Manual Music debut by releasing the well received single 'Witcher' / 'Vermillion' and now they are back with another excellent double A-sider. 'Dakha' is the opening track, a tribal infused intense melodic track with a clear warehouse / modern day rave vibe. 'Kalimba' continues on the same path, full of tribal rhythms and roaring synths. These guys truly have a unique timeless sound which isn't easy to pigeonhole. First up on remix duties it's Lex Ludlow known for her output on Atomnation and her own BØXBØX imprint. She's the perfect addition to this single because she's also wary of trends and clichés. Her interpretation of Dakha is just pure deep underground electronic music as it should be. The release ends on a positive note with Amir Telem's uplifting remix. Created around a warm synth theme, this melodic tension builder gets you right in the mood for an Indian summer.
