Hey guys! As a small present for the new year, I thought I’d make a free giveaway: a song of mine that is really meaningful, so let me tell you it’s story.
Last year in September we went to Skiathos, for our annually trip to Greece. Never ever, since 2018, when we had our first trip to Greece, did we have such weather. Super heavy storms, that lasted 4 days. There was a curfew, we couldn’t leave our hotel for 2 days and we didn’t have internet or reception during this time. It was very very bad, but I had my laptop with me. So, for lack of other activities, I created this song, with the limited resources that I had – I had just bought a new laptop so I installed just a few plugins before we left, and I made it using my AirPods Pro.
So yea, I named it, not subtly, ‘Storm in Skiathos’, and I think it represents the situation very good. It’s not my usual style, but it’s what came to me in that day. I think having limited resources helped with my creativity, since I wasn’t able to use my usual routine.
Anyway, it’s a song that will always remind me of those very stormy days in Greece, so I hope you enjoy it.
